Chers membres de la communauté universitaire,

Le 12 février 2026 est entrée en vigueur la Charte relative à l’usage des outils d’intelligence artificielle dans les travaux académiques.

L’intelligence artificielle fait désormais partie de notre environnement intellectuel. L’ignorer serait illusoire ; l’utiliser sans discernement serait irresponsable. Il nous appartient donc d’en encadrer l’usage avec clarté et d’apprendre aux étudiants à l’utiliser.

La charte adoptée par Domuni Universitas repose sur un principe simple : l’étudiant demeure pleinement responsable du travail qu’il remet à l’évaluation. Les outils d’IA peuvent constituer une aide - pour clarifier, structurer, reformuler - mais ils ne sauraient se substituer à l’effort personnel, à la rigueur des sources et à la cohérence argumentative.

L'établissement fait également le choix de la transparence : tout usage significatif d’un outil d’IA devra être déclaré. Cette exigence est un acte pédagogique et construit la confiance. Elle vise à former des consciences capables d’utiliser ces outils avec discernement.

La mission universitaire de Domuni Universitas demeure inchangée à l'heure de l'IA : apprendre à penser. Si l'intelligence artificielle facilite et accélère l’accès à l’information, le discernement et la rigueur deviennent plus indispensables que jamais.

Dear Members of the University Community,

On 12 February 2026, the Charter on the Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools in Academic Work entered into force.

Artificial intelligence is now part of our intellectual environment. To ignore it would be unrealistic; to use it without discernment would be irresponsible. It is therefore our responsibility to provide clear guidance for its use and to teach students how to engage with it appropriately.

The charter adopted by Domuni Universitas is founded on a simple principle: students remain fully responsible for any work they submit for assessment. AI tools may serve as an aid — to clarify, structure, or reformulate — but they must never replace personal effort, the rigorous use of sources, or the coherence of argumentation.

The institution has also chosen to uphold transparency: any significant use of an AI tool must be declared. This requirement is pedagogical in nature and serves to build trust. It aims to form minds and consciences capable of using these tools with maturity and discernment.

The university mission of Domuni Universitas remains unchanged in the age of AI: to teach how to think. While artificial intelligence facilitates and accelerates access to information, discernment and intellectual rigor are more essential than ever.

I extend my gratitude to the academic teams and to the researchers of the LIRP for the thorough work that made it possible to establish this framework.
